Tori Roloff shares a post to reflect on her miscarriage.
As we reported, Tori recently hopped online to reflect on her miscarriage, which happened a year ago. After her loss, she is now expecting her third child. Everything seems great so far. And the baby’s arrival is very soon. Zach and Tori already share four-year-old Jackson and two-year-old Lilah.
In her somber Instagram post this week, Tori wrote:
“Having a miscarriage was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to face personally, and I really could not have gotten through it without God’s promise, or my husband and kids.”
The TLC star references an important sermon. She says:
“Now Hannah didn’t have kids at the time but instead of rejecting God for it- she was obedient and prayed to have a child-to not be forgotten. God was faithful to her and she later had a child named, Samuel (meaning heard by God). I remember praying every night to not be forgotten, like Hannah.”
This particular section has fans furious. Why do LPBW fans think Tori Roloff is tone-deaf after reading this part of her post?
LPBW fans claim she’s tone-deaf.
Over on Reddit, LPBW fans are discussing Tori’s new post. They dislike that she’s referring to parents who have lost children and not been able to have another as “forgotten.”
One Reddit user argues, “Tone deaf af. Women who can’t get pregnant after miscarriage are not forgotten.”
Someone else chimes in, “I also don’t want to mock Tori for her faith or for what seemed to really help her during a difficult time but… this is implying that women who can’t get pregnant after a miscarriage are forgotten by God. I hope religious women who follow her don’t feel completely awful after seeing this.”
