Little People, Big World fans are speculating about why Matt Roloff didn’t end up selling the farm to his kids. For years, he’s talked about passing the farm down to his kids. But no one has purchased it yet, and part of the property is now for sale to the public.
Online, there has been a lot of conversation about the farm going up for sale and the kids not having a chance to buy it. Fans are ultimately curious to know why things didn’t go as planned. Zach and his wife, Tori, have now purchased a new home in Washington. After learning about this, fans thought it was pretty clear that they wouldn’t be purchasing the farm.
Plus, Jeremy and Audrey Roloff have gone a different route and no longer seem to be interested in the farm. For various reasons, it looks like all of Matt Roloff’s kids’ plans have changed. Both Jeremy and Zach claim to have made offers that were rejected by Matt.
Now, fans think they might know what really happened.

Is this why Matt Roloff didn’t sell the farm to his kids?
On Reddit, fans are talking about what happened to the kids’ plans to buy the farm. They believe that Matt Roloff could have changed his mind because he feared that they couldn’t handle all of the responsibilities. Despite Jacob, Jeremy, Molly, and Zach living on the property growing up, fans think they might not have realized all that actually went into running it.

One LPBW fan speculates, “Maybe the reason Matt wants too much is because he knows his kids. Will fail with the farm and Matt has to bail them out. Houses are expensive and a lot of work. Farms need probably more work in my book.”
Ultimately, fans feel sorry for Jeremy, Jacob, Zach, and Molly. Fans think Matt Roloff didn’t give his children a fair shot at taking over the farm. One fan says, “They definitely pulled the rug from under the boys who grew up expecting to inherit/run the farm. Matt sucks.”
