General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Port Charles is rife with crime, and one might assume that the police department would be overwhelmed, necessitating overtime for its officers.
However, that’s not the reality… Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) recently shared a video on his official Instagram to illustrate this fact and disclosed a significant secret regarding Dante.
Dominic Is In His Dressing Room And Goes Into Character On The Video
The ABC veteran soap actor was spotted lounging in his dressing room, slipping into the role of Dante while enjoying a peaceful morning. “What’s happening?
It’s Dante Falconeri from the PCPD,”(Port Charles Police Department) he started, then added, “I’m just here enjoying my breakfast.” A voice crackled over the loudspeaker, to which “Dante” responded, “I don’t even have to answer any of these calls; It’s fantastic”.
“There’s a guy in town-his name is Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He’s somewhat like my father’s handyman, his errand runner” (or at least that makes a good cover for a hit man!)
Dominic Continues To Talk About ‘Stone Cold’ In Character As Dante Falconeri
Of Stone Cold, “Dante” remarked, “But it’s astonishing, this guy. He resolves all the crime in Port Charles; it’s unbelievable.” Then he disclosed something that he shouldn’t let the commissioner know, “I honestly haven’t worked a single day in about 16 years since my dad shot me… That was painful, I must say.” So, if he hasn’t been employed since the shooting on January 29, 2010, what does Dante do on a daily basis? “
Since then, it’s been complimentary breakfast, watching TV, and observing Jason Morgan tidy up the town… I get compensated for this stuff. Anyway, I wanted to give everyone a heads up, all our appreciation and gratitude, all of it, goes to Sonny’s errand boy, Jason Morgan.”
Obviously, Dominic Was Kidding But The Kudos To Jason Were Undoubtedly Real!
Obviously, Dominic was doing a lot of good-natured kidding, but the kudos to Jason, and his portrayer Steve were undoubtedly real-“Dante’s” not mistaken and Zamprogna, well, thanks for the chuckle!
Over the history of the ABC soap Dante and Jason have saved each other numerous times, and Dante was even Jason’s son Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) almost stepfather.
As for Dominic’s comment about being shot by his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that happened before they knew they were father and son-that’s when they found out!
Dante, under a cover name of “Dominic Pirelli” was shot by Sonny in front of his mother, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) then Olivia Falconeri.
