Emmerdale confirms Mackenzie’s fate as fans ‘work out’ who finds him in John’s bunker

Emmerdale fans are certain they know who will find Mackenzie Boyd in the bunker as it’s been revealed he is actually alive.

Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) was last seen on the soap last week, being chased through the woods by secret killer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).

Moments before, Mack worked out that John was the one who killed Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) last year and dumped his body into a lake.

Resorting to desperate measures to not let Mack get away, a tense showdown then took place in the woods, in which John shot Mack with a crossbow arrow that went straight through his chest.

Still alive but wounded, Mack was cornered by John who found a giant rock and threw it down, seemingly killing Mack.

Meanwhile, later on in the village, viewers were then shown a body, presumably Mack’s, covered in a blanket in the back of his van, with blood dropping down and flies buzzing around it. John sparked even more suspicion from viewers after he hid something in the woods too.

Since then, John has headed off a mini break with husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) to a cottage. However, in Friday’s episode (August 29) it was revealed that the cottage is actually John’s childhood home.

Later on, John was seen heading into the woods before entering a secret bunker under the ground. And in a major twist, it was revealed that Mackenzie is actually alive and is being held captive in the secret bunker.
