Emmerdale fans believe they’ve exposed Ray Walter’s long-lost mum, and she’s already in the village.
Drug dealer Ray (Joe Absolom) first arrived in the Dales earlier this year when Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) rang him about purchasing Lewis Barton’s (Bradley Riches) cannabis crop.
Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) then secretly stole the drugs and sold them to Ray, before using the cash to purchase his grandmother Annie’s (Sheila Mercier) field.
It was later revealed that Ray was involved with youngster Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle), after he got him to break into Butler’s Farm to scope out the property.
However, the plan went horribly wrong when a frightened Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) stabbed Dylan in the leg with a pitchfork.
Now, Ray has gotten himself involved with April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), who is desperate to find Dylan a place to live after Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) kicked him out last week.
On Monday (September 1) night, Ray pressured Dylan into doing a risky job, with April volunteering to take on the task instead.
When she arrived in the car park for the drug drop, a hooded man demanded that she give him the bag before pulling out a knife.
Dylan consoled a shaken April, who was forced to give the drugs to the stranger, before it was revealed that Ray had orchestrated the entire interaction.
Now, several Emmerdale fans believe that Ray could be reunited with a long-lost family member in upcoming scenes, with many speculating that Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) is his mum.
