John kills yet AGAIN in Emmerdale early ITVX release as he fires off another arrow

John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) was back in the woods in today’s episode of Emmerdale, brushing up on his bow and arrow skills…days after shooting Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) with it.

Mack was last seen on Thursday. He was being chased through the woods by John after working out that he killed Nate. Mack tried to get away, but he was shot with an arrow and collapsed to the floor, allowing John to lure over him like an animal eyeing up his prey.

John grabbed a boulder and threw it down onto Mack. We don’t know where his body is at the moment, which means there is a chance he never actually killed him.

It’s a soap, of course.

John and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) are currently on holiday away from the village. They agreed a few days ago that they needed a break from family drama and are now settled into little cottage.

It’s certainly a cosy and quiet place, but sleeping in a house with old dolls displayed on units would certainly terrify us more than John charging at us with a bow and arrow.

Too soon?

On Friday, the couple got into a small argument when John pointed out that Aaron is still thinking about the chaos in the Dales, despite agreeing that they would have respite from it. John got some space from Aaron and was later found cleaning his van.

Aaron had no reason to believe that John was cleaning more than a few cobwebs away, but did grow concerned when he realised there was blood on the mirror. John claimed that he had hit a deer and felt so bad, he didn’t want to tell anyone.

The deer were an odd focus for John as today’s instalment opened. He was wandering the woods with his bow and arrow, clearly wanting to give Katniss Everdeen a run for her money.

John pulled an arrow and prepared to shoot a deer with it, but couldn’t bring himself to do so.

He headed back to the cottage and then asked Aaron if he views him as weak.John hunts Mack down with a bow and arrow in Emmerdale

The scenes we saw from Aaron and John tonight were small, but it allowed us to learn a little more about how John thinks. He spoke about Anthony Fox’s murder and disposing of his body, and how he doesn’t think it’s normal to have this in his head all the time.

John was paranoid and searched for reassurance, and this is exactly what he got from Aaron.

He told John that he thinks he’s the strongest man he’s ever known after everything he did regarding Anthony, and the comments made John feel amazing.
